The value for money at Thorverton Arms was unbeatable. The room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. The location in a picturesque village was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The morning meal could have been better, lacking in quality.

The room was not only comfy, but cosy too, and had a kettle, iron and ironing board, and a TV. They provided a sensational breakfast. The staff were very professional and made me feel comfortable.

Very enjoyable overall experience. The hotel with pet-friendly and clean rooms, in a lovely area, in the middle of the city. Extremely friendly and helpful stuff on reception and elsewhere. Excellant options at breakfast. Lovely and particularly good location right by Baptist Church.

I had such an incredible time at this place! The room might have been a bit old-fashioned, but who cares when it's so clean and cozy? The pub downstairs was beyond amazing and the village was seriously breathtaking. The staff, OMG, they were like the nicest people ever! They even let us bring our dog with us. And can we talk about the breakfast? Like, seriously, that tea and coffee was a game-changer. This place is totally mind-blowing and I would 100% recommend it for a short stay. BTW, the wi-fi was free too. Seriously, it's just super-duper amazing and you won't regret it!

The village and pub were very charming and lively. Situated in a beautiful location with a quaint atmosphere. Towels provided were large and the shower had great hot water. the tea and coffee served at breakfast were excellent, a nice perk in the mornings.
The room wasn't ready upon arrival and I had to wait. the pillows had a strong smell of cigarettes and there were noticeable stains on the bathroom walls.

Great location near to many attractions and easy to get around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions I had. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower.
My stay was not quite what I had hoped for. The breakfast had a very limited selection and the quality was poor.

The accommodation is situated in a charming village with a lively pub, making it a pleasant spot for a short stay. the towels provided in the bathroom were large and fluffy, and the shower produced plenty of hot water. the staff were friendly and courteous, and the breakfast was freshly cooked, including great bacon and sausage.
The room decor was dated and basic, lacking a luxurious touch.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for our Christmas stay. It was situated in a beautiful village that had plenty of things to see and do. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the hotel, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. the rooms were well, maintained, and we liked the fact that there were plenty of towels and basic amenities on offer.
We had some issues with the bathroom in our room, as the toilet was slow to fill and the flush was weak. we did notice that there were some stains on the walls.
